West Side Wander
One hero, one villain. Mural by the Brazilian artist Kobra.

Gave a small 4px tour on the west side on Monday. Love how many of us are still pretending things are normal.

We intended to walk the length of The High Line but it was closed at 23rd so we had to drop off and walk Death Ave. I personally love it when this happens because it means I get to visit Taglialatella which is a friendly and astonishing art gallery with a really chill big mountain dog who warms my heart.

These are just some photos from the wander (and a couple from before).

On 14th, at West Street, on the main route to Little Island. My biggest unhappiness working in 'tourism' in NYC is people who want the city and the world to be safe and sanitized and G-rated, which it's not, and never will be, so I love it when New York reminds visitors that the world is bigger, weirder, and kinkier than they'd ever think.

Notice the green Invader just below the surviving yellow KEST GAK BB tag. Those used to be everywhere it was incredible how much work that crew did.

After talking to them about street art, one of my guests pointed out this Paul Richard at the bottom of the 23rd street stairs. CHUFFED.
